I am battling with the Autdesk Inventor installation. I followed a previous post suggesting to not download from the web application, which I did. The download manager finally downloaded, and I successfully downloaded the Once it completed I was not at the PC, however it required a restart, which I did I thought it had successfully installed After the restart, nothing happened and I cant find Autocad.

The Autodesk website only has this software as one download. I could only resolve the missing file issue if they had a location on their website that had multiple files available to download. This must be an software error and not user error.
However, I still have no idea how to resolve this. I have pop up blockers disabled as advised. When I click on download, I choose "browser download" and it successfully downloads, however it does not install anything. Program closed unexpectedly. I ran it via another method, and it gave the error regarding missing files, with no other files appearing for download. You are still trying to use "Install Now". Delete all Inventor-related files from your Downloads folder and try the Browser Download method.
After accepting, it will automatically try downloading the 3 files required, but if your browser is blocking pop-ups, you will see an icon in the address bar in Edge and Chrome - behaviour might be different in other browsers :.
If you click on it, you will have the option to manually click on the 2 remaining parts and to always allow popups for Autodesk. Make sure to manually click on both remaining parts, just clicking on "always allow" will NOT download them. Thanks for your relpy, it was a good walk-through. I realised that I was not seeing the pop up blocker, however I followed what you said and it still failed all the same. Please see my attachment as it shows what I did step by step.
The name of the file you are running still looks like the web installer to me, especially when you say upon launching it downloads the whole installer again - it should not happen, since you have already downloaded all the necessary files in 3 pieces. These are the files you need and you run the installer by double-clicking the 1st part they will automatically be assembled and ask to be extracted to your C: drive :.

It's also for , not Hi Pola, apologies that image was from the previous attempt when I was trying to download , I have all the screen captures in the same folder, and mistakenly placed it in that PDF for my latest download.
But that failed. Have you checked whether your PC meets the requirements for Inventor ? I would in particular check the graphics card and driver. At the point of failure, I am not sure if the program is already installed or not, as I cant get further, but I thought I would show what I see now in C:Autodesk Maybe this will tell you if its actually installed or not.
